Go2 Billing Software ("Go2", "we", "us" or "our") provides billing, point-of-sale and inventory management software and related services (the "Services") to businesses in India. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website (go2billingsoftware.com), our applications (Go2 Desktop, Go2 Android, Go2 Offline and Go2 Owner App), and our support channels.

Information you give us. When you request a free trial, contact us, or sign up, we collect details such as your name, business name, mobile number, email address and business type. When you use the Services, you may also store business records in Go2 — such as products, invoices, customer and supplier details, and sales data ("Business Data").

Information collected automatically. We may collect basic technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address and usage logs to keep the Services secure and improve them.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and free trial;
• To contact you about setup, onboarding, support and pricing (by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email);
• To operate, maintain and improve the Services, including backups and sync across your devices;
• To send service updates and, with your consent, promotional communications (you may opt out at any time);

3. Your Business Data belongs to you

You own your Business Data. We process it only to provide the Services (for example, syncing between your devices and creating backups). We do not sell your Business Data or your personal information to third parties. You can export your data at any time, and you may request deletion of your account data when you stop using the Services.

4. Sharing of information

We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us run the Services (for example, cloud hosting, communication and analytics providers), bound by confidentiality obligations;
• Payment providers (such as UPI apps or payment gateways) when you choose to use payment features;
• Authorities, where required by applicable law or a valid legal process.

5. Data storage and security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption of data in transit (SSL/TLS), encrypted storage of sensitive data, role-based access controls, and automatic backups with a 30-day recovery window. For Go2 Offline, your data is stored locally on your own device and is backed up to the cloud only when an internet connection is available. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to protect your information.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations (for example, records required under Indian tax law). When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), you may:

• Request access to, or a copy of, the personal information we hold about you;
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
• Request deletion of your personal information;
