When Tally alone is enough
If you raise a handful of B2B invoices a day from one PC and your accountant already works in Tally, a separate POS adds little. Go2 earns its place when you have walk-in customers, several counters, or staff who need a two-second billing screen.
FAQ
Can Go2 replace Tally?
For billing, stock and GST reports, yes — Go2 creates GST invoices and GSTR-1/GSTR-3B formatted reports. If your CA needs full double-entry accounting in Tally, keep Tally for the books and export your Go2 sales to it.
Is TallyPrime a one-time purchase?
Both options exist. TallyPrime Silver (single PC) is ₹22,500 for a lifetime licence or ₹8,100 for 12 months; Gold (multi-user) is ₹67,500 lifetime or ₹24,300 for 12 months — all plus 18% GST, as of October 2026.
Why is Tally slow for counter billing?
Tally is built around accounting vouchers and a single Windows PC per Silver licence. A POS such as Go2 is built for queues: barcode scanning, one-key bills, thermal receipts and several counters sharing live stock.
Does Go2 work on Android as well as PC?
Yes. Go2 Desktop runs on Windows and Mac, Go2 Offline also on Linux, and Go2 Android on phones and tablets with Android 5.0 or later — all sharing the same data.
